Trust and Monitor Policy

Protect Yourself

Participants agree not to share personal information, including but not limited to last name, address, phone number, email address or social network usernames. Participants further agree not engage in communication unrelated to this GLP.

 

Protect Others

Participants agree to submit only their own original work, within which they have protected all people visible in photos and videos by obtaining permission (at least verbally) to have their faces shown.  

 

Protect the GLP

Participants agree to use only appropriate and respectful language, photos and videos.  Participants further agree to use no rude or indecent language but to be encouraging of other participants.

 

Protect your District

Participants agree to adhere to the Acceptable Use Policy of their district at all times. Participants further agree to check with a school representative when they are uncertain. 

 

Protect the Site Owner

Participants will not hold the owner of this site responsible for any actions of other participants.  Site owner will monitor all material submitted and delete any offensive posts or projects.

“Where in the World is Math?” is intended to be a fun, safe and educational site geared toward teenagers collaborating and learning together.  As such, it must remain friendly for all ages, ethnicities and belief systems.  Therefore, failure to comply with either the letter or the spirit of this policy will result in posts being deleted and privileges being forfeited.
