International Society for Technology in Education:

 

ISTE Standards for Students #1: Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct             knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology.

 

ISTE Standards for Students #2: Students use digital media and environments to             communicate and work collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.

Common Core (USA):

 

CCSS.Math.Practice. MP4 Model with mathematics: Mathematically proficient students can apply the mathematics they know to solve problems arising in everyday life, society, and the workplace.

Global Learning Goals:

 

Students will understand their culture in a comparative context and will recognize that           their culture is one of many diverse cultures and that alternate perceptions and behaviors may be based on cultural differences.

 

Students will value and be aware of intercultural communication concepts.

Cross-Cultural Goals:

 

Students will recognize individual and cultural differences and demonstrate an ability to             communicate and interact effectively and respectfully across cultures.

 

Students will display an ability to successfully and responsibly use technology to                         participate in the global exchange of ideas and information.

 A Global Learning Project: Merging subject matter learning with global collaboration and perspective.
